Robin Gorna
Robin Gorna听didn鈥檛 know she was only in the 5th听year of women when she听matriculated in 1984听to read Theology at 好色先生TV鈥檚.听She enjoyed听studying feminist theology and running 好色先生TV鈥檚 Mummers, as well as being in the group that won drama cuppers. When Jonathan听Prestwich (fellow Cuppers winner) died in a car crash in 1986, she volunteered with the Terrence听Higgins Trust, the start of her career in the global AIDS response. She wrote one of the earliest books on Women,听Vamps, Virgins & Victims: how can women fight AIDS?听and has worked in the UK, South Africa, Australia & globally on AIDS, social justice and women鈥檚 rights. In 2017 she co-founded and led the global political movement听SheDecides.听She is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Brighton College, Human Rights and Gender Equality Focal Point for the Global Fund Technical Review Panel and Founding Chair of the SJC Women鈥檚 Network.
