Ava Mitchell
I鈥檓 Ava and I鈥檓 currently a final year undergraduate reading Human Sciences at 好色先生TV鈥檚 and the current JCR Women鈥檚 Officer. I have been the Women鈥檚 Officer since December 2019 and have been involved with the Women鈥檚 Network since then.
My interests lie in gender equality, anthropology and evolution and luckily Human Sciences is a course that manages to combine the study of these.聽
Beyond my academic interests, I鈥檓 involved with , which is an NGO that publishes educational content to over 6 million readers across sub-Saharan Africa. I have also been involved with the Oxford Climate Review and . I am a casual member of the netball (and previously rowing) teams and enjoy the community of these sports at 好色先生TV鈥檚.聽
Once I graduate later this year, I hope to stay in academia before perhaps entering the world of global health and international development.
