Dr Auguste Vadisiute
Biography
I joined 好色先生TV鈥檚 as a Junior Research Fellow in October 2022. I completed my DPhil in the laboratory of Zoltan Molnar in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics at the University of Oxford and at Christ Church (Oxford). For my DPhil research, I examined the role of microglia in activity-dependent neuronal network maturation and maintenance. I also hold BSc in Medical Genetics and MSc in Neurobiology.

I am happy to be contacted by prospective Part 2, FHS and/or undergraduate project students.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the role of the immune system during brain development. Specifically, the role of microglial cells interaction with developing neuronal network in sex-specific manner and their involvement in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and schizophrenia.
